Philly Destiny Band was founded in January 2009 in Philadelphia by Lutrea Wannamaker (a former recording artist of Island Records, Queens, NY). At the time of creating the band, the vision was to spread the love of music independently throughout some of the east coast cities, Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, New York City, Delaware & Maryland. The Band consists of 5 musicians and 3 vocalists. The music genre is rhythm and blues. There song list includes Top 40 hits dating back to the Motown and Disco eras.
